22-time Grand Slam winner and former world number one Spaniard Rafael Nadal shared who he considers the favorite in the Australian Open 2026 final.
In the title match, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz will play against Serbian Novak Djokovic.
"I think the favorite is Carlos. He is young, he has energy, and he is in his prime. But Novak is Novak. He is a very special player. This is the final... I don’t know if Novak has lost here in the final. It’s always a challenge, and he loves challenges. But, in my opinion, the favorite is Carlos," Nadal said on 9News Melbourne.
The final will take place on February 1.
