24-time Grand Slam champion Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic explained what his inscription on the camera meant after winning the semifinal of the 2026 Australian Open.
In the match for a place in the final, he defeated the world’s second-ranked player, Italian Jannik Sinner. The match ended with a score of 3:6, 6:3, 4:6, 6:4, 6:4.
"In the last few years, there have suddenly been many experts who wanted me to end my career, or who have already done it for me... I want to thank them all because they gave me the strength and motivation to prove them wrong. And that’s what I did tonight," Djokovic said at the press conference.
The competition in Melbourne runs from January 18 to February 1. Last year's final was won by Jannik Sinner, who defeated Alexander Zverev.
