Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior has been named UEFA Champions League Player of the Week, according to the UEFA press service.
In the match of the 7th round of the group stage against Monaco (6:1), the 25-year-old Brazilian scored one goal and provided three assists.
Other contenders for the award included Barcelona midfielder Fermín López (two goals in the match against Slavia), Sporting forward Luis Suárez (two goals in the match against PSG), and Athletic Bilbao winger Robert Navarro (1 goal and 2 assists in the match against Atalanta).
In total, in the 2025/26 season, Vinicius has played 30 matches in all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 11 assists.
