The Portuguese specialist Ruben Amorim has been dismissed from his position as head coach of Manchester United.
This was reported by the club's press service.
The decision was made on January 5 after the match against Leeds (1:1) in the English championship. However, at the post-match press conference, Amorim noted that he did not intend to leave the team.
For the upcoming match against Burnley, the team will be prepared by Scot Darren Fletcher.
The Portuguese coach had been in charge of United since the fall of 2024 and achieved only 25 victories in 63 matches.
