The press service of Madrid's Real has reported that forward Kylian Mbappe has injured his left leg.
The forward has been diagnosed with a ligament strain in his knee.
According to L’Equipe, the French footballer will be sidelined for three weeks due to the injury. Thus, Mbappe will miss the match against Real Betis in La Liga on January 4 and the game against Atletico in the Supercup semifinal on January 8.
This season, the 26-year-old Mbappe has scored 29 goals in 24 matches across all competitions.
