Kylian Mbappe won against PSG in a court case regarding salary debts and other financial issues. However, not all of the player's claims were satisfied.
This is reported by RMC Sport.
In September 2024, the Professional Football League of France (LFP) ordered PSG to pay the forward, who transferred to Real Madrid for free, a debt of 55 million euros in salary and bonuses.
Later, Mbappe appealed to the LFP's disciplinary committee regarding the non-payment. However, the appeal was rejected as PSG, in turn, had filed a lawsuit against the LFP.
Along with financial claims, Mbappe filed a complaint against the club for psychological pressure and accused PSG of coercing him into signing a new contract in 2023 — during which time he was temporarily suspended from working with the first team.
The player demanded 253 million euros from the club, while PSG demanded 440 million euros from Mbappe.
The Paris labor court ruled in favor of Mbappe: PSG must pay him approximately 61 million euros, including vacation pay. The club's claims against the former player were fully rejected.
The Parisians are required to publish the text of the ruling on their official website within a month and have the right to appeal.
