U.S. President Donald Trump will participate in the draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Washington, during which he will take the stage and receive the Peace Prize from the International Football Federation (FIFA).

According to the publication, the two-hour event will begin with a performance by Andrea Bocelli, one of Trump's favorite opera singers, after which FIFA President Gianni Infantino will take the stage to introduce Trump as the recipient of the Peace Prize during the event. Trump is expected to accept the award and deliver a speech from the stage.
The official draw ceremony, during which 12 groups of four teams will be formed for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, will conclude with a performance by the Village People featuring their hit YMCA, which is considered the American leader's signature song. This song marks the end of Republican rallies, during which Trump often dances, rhythmically moving his arms, clenched in fists. After Trump's victory in the November 2024 elections, American and European athletes began to imitate these movements to celebrate won games or scored points, TASS reports.
The 2026 World Cup will feature 48 teams for the first time. The tournament will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
