Kyiv's Dynamo has dismissed head coach Alexander Shovkovsky and the entire coaching staff after the team's defeat in the 4th round of the group stage of the Conference League against Cypriot Omonia (0:2).
"The coaching staff of the team has been relieved of their duties. Igor Kostyuk, the coach of Dynamo U-19, has been appointed as the acting head coach," the statement on the club's official website says.
After four rounds, Dynamo is in 27th place in the overall table of the Conference League with three points. The team has one victory and three defeats.
In the next round, the Kyiv team will face Fiorentina. The match will take place on December 11.
