Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe cursed at the referee in the match against Elche (2:2) in the 13th round of the Spanish championship.
As reported by RMC Sport, after the final whistle, the forward began arguing with referee Francisco Maeso, for which he received a yellow card. After that, Mbappe turned around and said twice in French: 'dirty bastard.'
It is reported that the Real Madrid forward was unhappy that the referee ended the game immediately after the 8 minutes of added time, despite a pause for medical assistance to Elche goalkeeper Inaki Peña.
As noted by RMC Sport, Mbappe could face a lengthy suspension if the disciplinary committee takes up the case.
Real Madrid has accumulated 32 points after 13 rounds of La Liga and is in first place in the table.
