The forward was substituted in the 72nd minute and publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the head coach of the Madrid club, Xabi Alonso. The Spanish specialist stated after the game that he would talk to the player.
“I want to address all Madridistas, especially those who came to the Santiago Bernabeu and passionately supported us. This is a clásico, and a lot happens on and off the field. We try to keep ourselves in check, but that’s not always possible. We don’t want to offend anyone: neither young players nor fans.
