The result allowed the forward to set a historic achievement, as noted by the statistical service Opta Sport.
In the current season of La Liga, Kylian Mbappé has already scored ten goals and provided two assists.
Mbappé became the first player of the Madrid club to score 10 or more goals in the first nine rounds of La Liga since the 2014/2015 season. The last time such an achievement was accomplished was by Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 17 times that season.
Currently, Real Madrid is leading the La Liga standings with 24 points. Barcelona is in second place with 22 points. Villarreal rounds out the top three with 17 points.
