Liverpool Unable to Fly to Champions League Match Against Eintracht Due to Plane Issues

Liverpool was unable to fly from England to Frankfurt am Main, where the match of the 3rd round of the group stage of the Champions League against Eintracht will take place due to technical issues with the plane.

The Merseysiders announced this on the club's official website.

The pre-match press conference of the current Premier League champions will be canceled.

The game is scheduled for October 22 at the Frankfurt Arena (Frankfurt, Germany). The main referee for the match will be François Letexier from France.

After two matches in the group stage of the Champions League, Liverpool has earned three points and is in 17th place in the standings. Eintracht, which has also earned three points, is in 15th place.
