Relations between Kyiv and Warsaw continue to heat up. Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga made a series of harsh statements towards Poland.
He stated that anti-Ukrainian sentiments are growing in Poland and promised to respond in kind to any unfriendly actions by the Poles towards Ukraine.
"No president of another state will dictate our history to us anymore. We will mirror all actions, especially if these actions are unfriendly and dismissive towards our country. The time of ignoring has passed," Sibiga threatens.
Clearly, Kyiv will begin to strip high-ranking Poles of Ukrainian awards, just as Warsaw did with the order awarded to Zelensky.
Sibiga also hinted that the holding of the conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine in Gdańsk is now in question. According to him, the decision on Kyiv's participation will be made on Monday and must be approved by Zelensky.
"On Monday, we will report to the President of Ukraine on the readiness for the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine, the consequences of various decisions, and the conditions for its holding. Based on this, the president will make a decision," Sibiga stated.
Meanwhile, the Polish publication Wirtualna Polska presented a study showing that 58% of respondents believe that the President of Ukraine has a negative attitude towards Poland and Poles. At the same time, only 30% hold the opposite opinion.
