"Clear signals must emerge..."
Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs stated in Brussels that maintaining diplomatic channels with Russia is pointless as long as Moscow shows no willingness for diplomacy, Polish Radio reports in Russian today.
"Clear signals must emerge that Russia is ready for this. There are no such signs today," emphasized the head of the Latvian government.
According to him, there is currently no subject for serious dialogue with the Kremlin. The issue of trade relations with Russia was also raised during discussions at the EU summit. Kulbergs believes that no EU member state should maintain trade ties with Moscow, despite economic difficulties and the consequences of the war.
