Ministers to Discuss Work Priorities at Closed 'Strategic' Meeting

Today at 9:00, the Cabinet of Ministers will convene to discuss three tasks for each minister that they intend to accomplish during the current government's term, as reported by the LETA agency.

The meeting will be closed; however, a statement for the media regarding the decisions made is scheduled for around 12:00.

As reported, the new Prime Minister of Latvia, Andris Kulbergs, stated that ministers will have to meet twice a week, and in some cases, three times.

Describing the organization of the work of his government, Kulbergs noted that government meetings will be held on Tuesdays to address current issues, while 'strategic meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers' focusing on political matters will take place on Friday mornings.

If necessary, Kulbergs also plans to hold meetings on Thursdays.

Additionally, it was reported that the Prime Minister instructed ministers to prepare three tasks that each of them is ready to accomplish during the current government's term.
