The new leader of the ministers, Andris Kulbergs, announced on the social media platform Facebook that he wants to reorganize the meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers and the formation of the agenda, noting that the calendar is filling up very quickly.
“Being a prime minister is a challenge in terms of finding free time. Unfortunately, a lot of shit and questions are coming to the Cabinet of Ministers that do not belong at the Cabinet level,” he clarified.
As an example, he cites the approval of ticket prices for museums and other issues that should be the responsibility of the ministries.
Kulbergs has already calculated that the new government has 88 working days ahead, which means that only 17 regular meetings will take place.
As reported by BB.lv, Kulbergs' government was approved by the Saeima on May 28. That evening, a ceremonial meeting of the government took place under Kulbergs' leadership, but no issues were discussed.
