If elections were held today, 7 political forces would enter the new Saeima. The winner of the race would be the "Latvia First" party.
After a two-month break, sociologists from SKDS conducted a survey of voters commissioned by Latvian TV, asking if elections to the Saeima were held today.
As at the end of last year, the most popular party is "Latvia First" - Schlesers and Co. are supported by 14.6% of voters. In second place is the "Progressives" party with 12.6% support.
Closing the top three is the National Alliance, which 11.8% of respondents are ready to vote for.
The ruling party is experiencing a dizzying decline in popularity - only 11% of those surveyed plan to vote for "New Unity".
The United List can count on the support of 10.6% of voters. The same number of citizens of Latvia with voting rights support "Sovereign Power".
Finally, closing the list of political forces that have every chance of overcoming the five percent barrier is the Union of Greens and Farmers, which finished with 7.4% support.
Currently, below the threshold are the "Stability!" party (4.5%), Hermanis's party "We Change the Rules" (3.7%), and the "Harmony Center" coalition (3.4%).
