Latvia will provide Ukraine with a dismantled thermal power plant. This was announced by the country's Foreign Minister Baiba Braže to reporters in Brussels.
"Latvia is doing everything possible. We have delivered another package of energy support and are preparing the next one. It includes the literal relocation of a thermal power plant that has been dismantled in Latvia, which we no longer need," said Braže.
Braže did not specify where exactly in Latvia the thermal power plant was dismantled.
She added that Latvia is also providing military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
In particular, this concerns a procurement program for American weapons for Ukraine, which, according to the minister, is the most effective against Russian missiles.
