For 2,109,440 euros, work is planned to improve the building of the Latvian embassy in Belgium, in Brussels, as evidenced by the draft order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted on the regulatory acts portal, writes LETA.
This amount is intended for technical improvements to the embassy building – reconstruction of the power supply system, enhancement of fire safety and energy efficiency, provision of uninterrupted power supply, as well as improvement of server rooms.
The funds are planned to be redistributed from the program "Funding redistributed during the execution of the annual state budget" of the reserve budget to the program "Ensuring Latvia's presidency in the Council of the European Union" in the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The draft order still needs to be approved by the government.
