Krastiņš Begins Work as Director of the State Social Insurance Agency 0 10

Labor relations with Šmitine have officially been terminated.

Krastiņš has until now been the executive director of the 'Latvijas Digitālais akselerators' society. He holds a master's degree in social sciences, a qualification as a lawyer, and a bachelor's degree in political science.

Krastiņš has extensive experience in public administration: for nearly three years, he served as the director of the Department of Education, Culture, and Sports of the Riga City Council, was the head of the Prime Minister's Bureau for about three years, and held the position of director of the State Regional Development Agency for more than two years, as well as serving as a board member of the state-owned enterprise 'Latvijas autoceļu uzturētājs' and executive director of the state-owned enterprise 'Elektroniskie sakari'.

Krastiņš was recognized as the winner of the competition for the position of director of the State Social Insurance Agency, for which 15 candidates applied.
