The Department of Environment and Mobility of the Riga City Council has announced a procurement for car washing services for the department, according to information published in the Electronic Procurement System, LETA reports.
The procurement is divided into two parts — manual car washing in Riga and car washing at self-service car washes in Riga.
The total estimated contract amount is 21,000 euros, of which 12,000 euros the department can allocate for manual car washing, and 9,000 euros for washing at self-service car washes.
Manual car washing in Riga is planned for cases where a complete wash of the vehicle is required with the involvement of staff, including if the car is particularly dirty, drying of the body is needed, cleaning of the interior, or providing other additional services.
In turn, washing at self-service car washes is planned to be used for everyday external cleaning of cars.
Proposals for the procurement can be submitted until December 4.
