"Green farmers" hoped to hold a "debriefing" as early as next Monday. But the Prime Minister will still be... in the Vatican.

The scandal in the "noble family" continues! Let us remind you that on Friday the "green farmers" staged yet another mutiny on the ship, demanding funding for passenger transportation in the province. They made it clear that if the money is not found, the Silin government will come to an end. To start with, the Minister of Communications, Atis Švinka ("Progressives"), will be removed with the help of the opposition.

The "Progressives" are not holding back either and accuse the leader of the Union of Greens and Farmers, Armands Krauze, of trying to act in the spirit of 90s politics during his tenure as Minister of Agriculture. The "Progressives" accuse the Ministry of Agriculture of creating particularly favorable conditions for private commercial companies in the timber processing sector at the expense of the state.

A. Krauze himself promised to discuss the current situation with passenger transportation at the coalition council on Monday, November 24, in the presence of the Prime Minister. Apparently, the politician was unaware that Evika Silin is visiting the Vatican, and therefore the coalition council meeting is not currently planned.

However, it is likely that this meeting could take place on Tuesday - before the government meeting. One thing is clear: the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance will need to find several million euros for passenger transportation to save the government and ensure the adoption of the budget. One of the options proposed by the "green farmers" is to take from the Rail Baltica project. But the "Progressives" will likely oppose this.

The war of nerves in the coalition continues, and the question is who will crack first. Rumor has it that Prime Minister Evika Silin is close to putting the question on the table: are the partners still willing to "support" this government or is it time to part ways.
