The member of the Riga City Council from the National Alliance continues to share his impressions of working as a history teacher at the former Russian school.
Kaspars Spunde, a member of the capital's municipal government, stated in an interview with TV-24 that students at the former Russian school where he works part-time as a teacher "secretly called him a fascist." According to the deputy, this all comes from the families of these students, who "without a doubt are in the Russian information space."
The deputy believes that this is how angrily children react to pressure - as they need to learn in another language, namely Latvian. At the same time, the politician wonders why the parents of these Russian-speaking children do not pressure them themselves, as it is clear that without knowledge of Latvian, obtaining an education and building a career in Latvia will be impossible.
