Zarīna to Replace Endziņš, Who Left to Fight Bureaucracy, at the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Katrīna Zarīna, the current board member, has been appointed as the chairman of the board of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the LETA agency was informed by the LCCI.

As reported, the chairman of the board of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Jānis Endziņš, has left his position to lead the Action Group for Reducing Bureaucracy.

Zarīna has been serving as a board member and director of the foreign affairs department of the LCCI, representing the interests of Latvian entrepreneurs at both the European and international levels.

Endziņš will perform his duties at the LCCI until November 28, while Zarīna will take up her new position on December 1.

The board will continue to operate with two members. Jānis Lielpēteris also serves as a board member of the LCCI.

It was previously reported that the Action Group for Reducing Bureaucracy was established on March 27. It includes representatives from government administration, entrepreneurs, and non-governmental organizations.

The LCCI unites nearly 6,000 members: micro, small, medium, and large enterprises from all regions and sectors of the country, as well as associations, city clubs of entrepreneurs, and other business associations.
