On Thursday, quite warm but cloudy weather is expected in Latvia, forecasts the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Thursday will be cloudy, with some clearings in places. Brief rain is expected in parts of the eastern region of the country. A light wind will blow. The air will warm up to +21, +26 degrees, while in Vidzeme and some areas along the Gulf coast, it will only reach +18, +21 degrees.
In Riga, the sky will be intermittently covered with clouds, but they will not bring significant precipitation. A light wind will blow, and the air will warm up to +22, +24 degrees.
The warm weather will last until the end of the month, and by the end of the week, hot air from Western Europe will arrive in Latvia - thermometers in many places will reach and exceed +30 degrees.
