The Latvian TV program "4th Studio" inquired about the fate of the Stone Bridge at the request of viewers - when it will be its turn for reconstruction (repair). Here’s what was explained by the Street Pavement and Transport Structures Department of the Riga City Council: "Until the Cable-Stayed Bridge is rebuilt, significant repair work on the Stone Bridge will have to wait. The development of documentation and construction project is included in this year's procurement plan. The repair work on the Cable-Stayed Bridge is expected to be completed by the end of 2028 or the beginning of 2029, which means that the turn for the repair of the Stone Bridge will come no earlier than 2030."
