On the night before Wednesday, fog will form in many areas of western and central Latvia, meteorologists predict.
In the next 24 hours, significant precipitation is not expected, with weak to moderate winds from the north direction.
The minimum air temperature at night will be between -3 and +2 degrees, and up to +4 degrees in Latgale. During the day, with clearings, the air will warm up to +8 to +13 degrees; however, fog will persist along part of the coast, and the temperature will not exceed +2 to +7 degrees.
In Riga, foggy weather is expected on Wednesday night and in the morning, with fog possible in the northern part of the city during the day. With weak to moderate northern winds, the air temperature will hover around zero, and during the day it will not exceed +6 degrees.
