The Latvian national airline "airBaltic" plans to operate a repatriation flight from Dubai to Riga on Friday, March 6. The airline added that it is ready to act promptly, including adjusting flight schedules and, if necessary, operating additional flights.
Currently, flight BT7701 is expected to operate on Friday, departing from Dubai International Airport at 17:50 local Dubai time.
The flight to Riga is scheduled with a technical stop in Heraklion (Greece) and is expected to arrive in Riga on Saturday, March 7, at 14:10 local Riga time. The flight is planned to accommodate 145 seats.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will contact Latvian nationals registered in the Consular Register to inform them about the possibility of flying and further preparations.
