In the next 24 hours, light snow is expected in most of Latvia, with the sun occasionally peeking out, meteorologists forecast.
The air temperature at night will be between -9 and -14 degrees, with possible frost up to -20 degrees in some places under clear skies. During the day, temperatures are expected to range from -2 degrees on the Kurzeme coast to -9 degrees in some areas in the east of the country.
In Riga, light snow is possible on Thursday. At night, the air temperature will drop to -11 degrees, while during the day, thermometers will rise to -6 degrees.
