On Wednesday, predominantly overcast weather is expected in Latvia, with light snow forecasted in most areas throughout the day, meteorologists report, writes LETA.
The most snow is expected in the south of the country in the evening. The wind will be light, coming from the east and southeast.
The maximum air temperature will range from -4 to -9 degrees, with some areas in the south of the country seeing temperatures rise to -1 degree.
In Riga, it will be cloudy, with light snow expected closer to the evening. A light southeast wind will shift to an easterly direction. The air temperature will rise to -5 degrees.
The influence of the cyclone will strengthen from the west. The atmospheric pressure at sea level will be 996–1000 hPa.
