Frosts will return to Latvia tonight, according to forecasts from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LEGMC), reports LETA.
It will be mostly cloudy at night, with light snow expected in most areas, and in some places in the southwest, there may be heavy snowfall at times, resulting in an increase in snow cover by 2–4 centimeters.
A light wind from the south will blow, with gusts of up to 15 meters per second along the coast.
The air temperature at night will range from -3 to -7 degrees, while it will be slightly warmer along the coast — from 0 to -3 degrees.
In Riga, it will also be cloudy, with occasional snow. A light wind from the south is expected, and the air temperature will drop to minus 2 to minus 3 degrees.
On Sunday afternoon, cloudy weather is expected, with the sun peeking through the clouds in some places, but in many areas of Latvia, there will be occasional snow.

In Riga, mostly cloudy weather will persist, with occasional snow expected. A light southern wind will blow, and the maximum air temperature will range from -1 to -2 degrees.
