Elena Rybalko, a member of the KVN team 'Burnt by the Sun', has died, the press service of the television show reports on its Telegram channel.
"Elena's death is an irreparable loss for all who knew this wonderful girl. In this difficult time, we share the pain of her family and all who were fortunate to know Elena," the message states.
According to media reports, Rybalko died in a traffic accident in Sochi — the woman was crossing the road in an unauthorized place when she was struck by a Toyota car.
As reported by the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sochi, on May 1, the Toyota vehicle hit a woman born in 1973, who was crossing the road in an unauthorized area.
"The victim died at the scene of the traffic accident," the police reported.
