In November 2024, actress Marina Fedunkiyva gave birth to a son: the actress became a mother for the first time at 53 years old. For her husband, Italian businessman Stefano Maggi, this child is also the first.
The actress is convinced that no matter what happens, one should never dwell on problems. This is the advice the Comedy Woman star gave in a new episode of the show "Theory."
One of the participants in the program complained to Fedunkiyva and the other hosts that she could not build serious relationships with men, despite doing everything possible for it. The woman asked for advice on how to behave to achieve her goal. In response, Marina advised her to simply let go of the situation.
"If I keep thinking about it, nothing will come of it. As soon as I let go of the problem, everything comes on its own. Just like my child at 53 years old," the actress admitted.
Earlier, Marina shared that she gave birth to her son herself. The artist conceived the child through IVF. Recently, Fedunkiyva stated that she is ready to have a second child with her husband – this time, however, they plan to use a surrogate mother.
The option of a surrogate mother was considered by the couple the first time as well, but Marina ultimately decided to carry the child herself.
"I would have driven that mother crazy. I would have lived with her, slept, walked, and eaten with her. There would have been cameras everywhere. I wouldn’t have given her a moment's peace. What if she smokes? What if she does something somewhere? I considered it, but I still hoped to find someone among my acquaintances and ask for good money. Why not? But I was told that I was healthy," the artist said.
The actress chose an unusual name for her firstborn – she named the baby after her grandfather.
"I named my son after my grandfather, whose name was Fedunkiyva Theodor Gavrilovich, so my son is Theodor," the screen star shared.
Marina Fedunkiyva and Stefano Maggi got married in June 2021. The actress's husband is 12 years younger than her. The couple first registered their marriage at the capital's MFC, and in August of the same year, on the actress's 50th birthday, they had a lavish wedding.
The lovers met in 2019 at a mutual friend's birthday party. Stefano lives and works in Moscow. At that time, he was studying the Russian language and was trying to communicate actively with Marina. She was dreaming of a trip to Rome. They found themselves together on a plane for the second time on the same flight. They talked the entire flight and ultimately decided to keep in touch. Thus, their romance ignited.
