The court handed down a harsh sentence to the stepson of the famous musician Stas Namin, sending him to a strict regime colony for a monstrous crime that claimed the lives of his brother and grandmother.
The Telegram channel of the Courts of General Jurisdiction of the Moscow Region confirmed: Stas Namin's stepson has been sentenced to 18 years in a strict regime colony for the murder of the famous musician's son and mother-in-law. This shocking crime unfolded in October 2023 in the Moscow region of Istra. 39-year-old Roman Tkachenko first cold-bloodedly killed his 85-year-old grandmother, who was Namin's mother-in-law, while she was asleep. He then called his 30-year-old half-brother, the musician's son Artem, to inform him of her death. As soon as Artem arrived at the house, Tkachenko ruthlessly dealt with him as well. Subsequently, the criminal confessed to his actions.
According to media reports, the cause of this horrific conflict was a dispute over the sale of the house. It was also reported that at the time of the crime, Roman was under the influence of narcotic substances. During the interrogation, he stated that he could not bear the constant criticism from relatives who persistently urged him to stop his debauched lifestyle and drug use.

Commenting on the incident, Stas Namin himself called what happened a "terrible tragedy," while firmly distancing himself from his stepson. "Roma was never my son; he is the son of my ex-wife Galina from her first marriage. He has always been a scoundrel and a vile person. I have not communicated with him for many years," he stated in a conversation with journalists.
