"I am afraid that Israel has wildly put Jews around the world at risk," writes American scientist and geopolitical analyst Sergey Lopatnikov, who himself is Jewish through his grandmother, as he mentions in his Telegram channel "Antidote SL."
Sergey Lopatnikov is the head of the American laboratory for mathematical modeling methods at the University of Delaware (USA), and previously a leading researcher at Moscow State University (MSU). He has been living in the U.S. since the early 2000s. He writes:
"I am afraid that Israel has wildly put Jews around the world at risk. While there were obvious and legal grounds for the attack on Gaza, the situation with Iran is more complicated. And most importantly, I find it hard to imagine what will happen if Iran destroys desalination plants, including those in Israel. That would truly be Armageddon. I don’t remember exactly how much desalination provides water in Israel, but it is certainly 70-80%.
And in the U.S., discussions have begun about the use of nuclear weapons against Iran. It’s complete madness," Lopatnikov emphasized.
In another message, Lopatnikov wrote: "It is absolutely clear that Israel and the U.S. have simply unleashed Iran's hands to create nuclear weapons. This does not make me happy at all. But we cannot deny its effectiveness either. Israel has achieved mass, I would say, global anti-Semitism. This is the worst thing it could have done," the American scientist emphasized.
Recall that the day before, Israel and the U.S. conducted an attack on a large freshwater storage facility in Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran. The reservoir, with a volume of 10,000 cubic meters of drinking water, is located in the city of Heftgel.
