On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the 43-year-old Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, made a truly significant announcement: henceforth, the outdated term “housewife” will be replaced with “generation shaper.” This decision, reported by Gulf Today, has already received an official mandate from the Community Development Authority.
The new, proud term will appear on all official documents, including Emirates ID cards. Moreover, it will actively enter social programs and public discourse, changing the very perception of the role of mothers.

Addressing mothers, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized: “You are the foundation of all that is good.”
