Comedian Romanov stated that he is very grateful to Israel after obtaining citizenship.

Stand-up comedian Dmitry Romanov, who left Russia, spoke about obtaining Israeli citizenship and nearly cried. He discussed this with journalist Irina Shikhman, and a recording of their conversation is available on YouTube.

It provides us with a place in the world where we are unconditionally loved and awaited. And that is very important. I’m going to cry now," said the comedian.

At the same time, he added that he does not live in Israel due to "a number of factors." In particular, he dislikes the very hot climate in the country.
