A resident of Uzbekistan lived for over 30 years with a passport of the Soviet Union.
The last citizen of the Soviet Union has been found in Uzbekistan.
This concerns a 53-year-old resident of the Samarkand region who, after getting married in 1992, changed her place of residence but did not replace her identity document. As a result, the woman lived for over 30 years with a passport from a non-existent state.
"After the situation was revealed, the district justice departments, together with the migration and citizenship registration unit, took the necessary measures," emphasized the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.
