Tickets for the performance "Without Witnesses" sold out in just a few hours.
The dress rehearsal of the new production at the "Workshop '12' of Nikita Mikhalkov" took place. Even before the premiere of the stage version of the drama "Without Witnesses," the project attracted enormous attention, particularly due to the actor playing the main male role, who returned to the stage after the well-known tragic incident.
The official premiere of the production "Without Witnesses" is scheduled for March 25 and 26. However, some lucky individuals have already had the chance to appreciate the work of the artist who had been idle for a while, with the incomparable Anna Mikhalkova as his partner. Among the first audience members, besides Nikita Mikhalkov and Alexander Adabashyan (the author of the stage version), were Sergey Shakurov, Nikolai Burlyaev, Alexander Tsypkin, Mikhail Gorevoy, Dmitry Bikbaev, and Svetlana Toma.
"The main thing is that by the end of the performance, there are not fewer of you than there are now... I really hope that here, for the most part, there are people who know what theater is, who understand how actors feel nervous. In any case, we would not risk going out to the audience if we did not feel ready to express ourselves. Take care of your nerves, retirees!" Mikhalkov stated from the stage before the performance began.
Judging by the loud applause, the audience was able to fully appreciate the dedication demonstrated by Mikhail Olegovich. In the romantic drama, Efremov appeared in several guises – as a cheerful Santa, an elegant dandy in a suit with a bow tie, and at the end of the story – practically naked in enormous family underwear with a substantial belly. Before the curtain fell, loud applause filled the hall, which did not subside for several minutes.

According to theater critic and author of the project "Slava's Word" Vyacheslav Gerasimchuk, there are quite reasonable explanations for the incredible hype surrounding Mikhail Olegovich's persona.
