"It is important to consider the limited number of audience seats, which, given the high level of demand, leads to the rapid purchase of the ticket stock," the theater explained.
Ticket sales were conducted through the box office and the official website of the theater, as well as through an authorized ticket operator.
"Sales were conducted in a regular mode, without technical failures, exceeding the limits of the ticket stock, and without issuing additional tickets beyond the approved volume," the press service added.
The excitement at the theater was also attributed to the premiere status of the play, the participation of leading artists, and the limited capacity of the auditorium.
Media outlets found several offers for tickets to the premiere on free advertisement websites. For instance, tickets for the balcony are being sold for prices starting from 12,000 rubles, while in the official sales points, their cost was 8,000 rubles. The orchestra section is offered starting from 35,000 rubles (about 380 euros).
