At 61, the singer found herself in a difficult situation.
In her time, Natalia Vetlitskaya was incredibly popular. When a couple of years ago the return of stars from the past began, many expected a rise for this singer as well. The star of 'Mirage' truly planned to shine again, but something went wrong.
Alena Zhigalova and Svetlana Bondarchuk recently recalled Vetlitskaya's failure during a discussion about show business on camera. While discussing various stars, Alena wondered what public figures, who have become prisoners of their image and whose lives are not going well, should do. Bondarchuk stated that what is most puzzling for her is when such figures start appearing on talk shows. She cited Vetlitskaya, who experienced a downfall several years ago, as an example.
"Forgive me, my close friend Natalia Vetlitskaya. She was in the cosmos. She was a goddess. She was the most beautiful, the most extraordinary, and she was untouchable. And when she attempted to return a few years ago, she went to Andrey Malakhov. I felt a sense of Spanish shame when you realize: 'You are a star, you cannot be touched!' Even I live with this feeling, although she is my closest friend. But you cannot talk about how terrible someone was and how much money you have," Svetlana shared.
Bondarchuk tried many times to be helpful to Vetlitskaya, but it turned out to be pointless to impose anything on the star of 'Mirage.' "She did everything the opposite way. And it pains me to understand this. Because everyone was eagerly awaiting her return," noted Zhigalova's interlocutor. In Svetlana's opinion, Vetlitskaya still has a chance to return. But for this, Natalia needs to come to the audience with her old songs, resurrecting the image from the past that made her famous. At least, this is what Bondarchuk insists.
Let us remind you that discussions about Vetlitskaya's return took place about six years ago. It was rumored that nothing came of Natalia's attempts due to her difficult character. "In her life, there were wealthy men. That is why she could afford anything. But then the men ran out. <…> In the end, it can be said that this was the most failed comeback in the history of Russian show business," stated journalist and music expert Alexey Ostudin.
