Prince Edward commented on the documents regarding the royal family's connections with Epstein.
Prince Edward became the first member of the British royal family to comment on the case of American financier Jeffrey Epstein. This was reported by The Daily Beast.
At the summit in Dubai, Edward was asked how he manages to maintain his composure amid the publication of documents regarding the British royal family's connections with Epstein. The prince replied that his concerns are unlikely to trouble the public and emphasized the need to remember the victims.
"I think it’s always very important to remember the victims and who exactly was a victim in all of this," he said. "There are many victims in all of this."
American financier Jeffrey Epstein created a criminal network that engaged in the sexual exploitation of underage girls. Among others, he maintained close ties with U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman, film producer Harvey Weinstein, actor Kevin Spacey, and billionaire Bill Gates. Some girls who became victims of Epstein later admitted that they were forced to have sex with Prince Andrew.
