Enough! Doctor Myasnikov debunked the popular myth about coffee

Doctor Myasnikov stated that coffee does not provoke the development of atrial fibrillation.

Doctor and TV host Alexander Myasnikov stated that coffee consumption does not lead to the development of arrhythmia.

According to the doctor, there is an opinion that coffee can provoke arrhythmia, which is why people with such a diagnosis should not drink this beverage. However, as the specialist emphasized, there is now a wealth of data that refutes this viewpoint.

In particular, Myasnikov published a link to a study confirming that coffee does not harm those with arrhythmia. He noted that scientists observed 500 patients with atrial fibrillation. The doctor pointed out that half of the participants were advised to drink at least one cup of coffee a day, while the other half completely abstained from this beverage.

The study found that people who drank one cup of coffee a day had a lower risk of recurrences of atrial fibrillation than those who completely abstained from coffee and caffeinated products.
