"Anti-Orthodox, inhumane, deceitful, and filthy family."
Singer Victoria Tsyganova expressed her outrage on her Telegram channel regarding the scandalous behavior of journalist Ksenia Sobchak and her husband, theater director Konstantin Bogomolov.
Tsyganova stated that Bogomolov's performances contain debauchery and promote LGBT (the "International Public Movement LGBT" is recognized as extremist and terrorist, and is banned in the territory of the Russian Federation). She claimed that the director walks naked on stage. The artist also reminded about the scandalous wedding of the director with Sobchak. She urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to pay attention to the television host's family.
"The Supreme has no time to control everything that happens on the 'cultural front' — there are questions for the Ministry of Culture. But I really want the President to finally pay attention to the anti-Orthodox, inhumane, deceitful, and filthy family of Sobchak-Bogomolov. They tarnish Russia by their very existence," the artist stated.
In Tsyganova's opinion, only Putin can restore order in Russia.
In January, the head of the FPBK Vitaly Borodin criticized Bogomolov's theatrical works, citing feedback from viewers.
Borodin accompanied the publication with a video from a subscriber, in which a girl expressed her outrage at the indecent content of Bogomolov's performance. The Russian woman stated that she was shocked by the production.
Earlier, it was reported that Sobchak staged "wild dances" at Leonid Leontiev's concert abroad.
On April 4, 2014, Tsyganova presented Gennady Zyuganov with an award sheet for his father. Earlier, this document was handed to Victoria Yuryevna by two veterans during her street concert in Sevastopol. The award sheet, dating back to the Great Patriotic War, had been kept in the city archive. The leader of the CPRF presented V. Yu. Tsyganova with a commemorative medal from the CPRF Central Committee "90 Years of the USSR" for her contribution to the patriotic education of youth.
From May 4 to 7, 2014, the leader of the CPRF G. A. Zyuganov was on a working visit to the annexed Crimea and Sevastopol. At a festive concert organized by the party in Sevastopol, Tsyganova also performed. There, she and her husband, Vadim Tsyganov, were awarded medals from the CPRF Central Committee "70 Years of the Liberation of Crimea and Sevastopol."
During the 2018 presidential elections, she was a trusted person of Vladimir Putin. In 2019, she became a candidate for the State Duma from the Komsolmolsky electoral district from the United Russia party. She lost the election to the LDPR candidate Ivan Pilyaev. In February 2022, she supported Russia's invasion of Ukraine, justifying her support for the invasion with the main myths and narratives of Russian anti-Ukrainian propaganda. In October 2022, she released a music video for the song "Wagner," which became the unofficial anthem of the Wagner PMC, and performed with other pro-Kremlin artists at pro-government events in support of the Russian attack. In October 2023, an interview with Vika Tsyganova and her husband was released by Yuri Dud. In the conversation with the journalist, Tsyganova stated that she supports the war in Ukraine due to Orthodoxy, belief in a number of conspiracy theories, including the existence of a world government that deceived Vladimir Putin, as well as respect for the mercenaries of the Wagner PMC. After the interview was released, Vika Tsyganova urged people not to watch it, claiming it was "generated by a neural network."
