This style is also receiving significant attention from users on the TikTok platform, thanks to the renewed interest in the works of author Jane Austen.
During this period, wardrobes featured empire-style silhouettes with high waists, square necklines, and puffed sleeves. Outfits adorned with velvet details were paired with corsets, opera gloves, and accessories embellished with pearls and feathers.
Currently, such pieces have caught the attention of designers, who showcased reimagined versions on the runway.
