The presenter Khvostova, who left Russia, was denied entry to the US due to a BDSM costume in her luggage.
Former host of the show "Orel i Reshka" Vasilisa Khvostova, who left Russia, was denied entry to the US due to a BDSM costume in her luggage and a suspicious description in her social media profile.
According to the publication, customs officers in New York were alerted by the abundance of stamps in Khvostova's passport, and she was sent for additional baggage inspection. Among the presenter’s belongings was a book titled "The Naughty Bible" and a BDSM costume, after which she was taken to an interrogation room.
Officers seized Khvostova's smartphone and examined her Instagram profile. "They didn’t even get to the photos and 'reels' — the officers were unsettled by the profile description 'seven years of sexy travels.' After that, her visa was revoked, and Vasilisa was sent to an immigrant detention cell," the publication stated.
It is claimed that after a day, the presenter was deported to Europe, from where she arrived in the US.
Earlier, Russian journalist Stanislav Kucher, who lives in the US, recounted that he was detained at an American airport in the 1990s. According to him, this happened due to a joke about the KGB.
