Burnout in December: How to Preserve Your Energy at Work

The end of the year often brings fatigue and stress: you need to complete old projects, launch holiday campaigns, and make plans for the next year.

HR specialist Anastasia Kurnikova shares tips on how to get through this period without burnout.

Specialist Tips:

Conserve Your Energy: Review your task list and identify 2–3 truly important tasks. The rest can be delegated or postponed until January.

Proper Communication: Instead of saying "I will do everything," use the phrase "I will focus on the report and preparation for the campaign; we will launch the other tasks in January." This demonstrates responsibility rather than weakness.

Focus on Analytics: Set aside 1–2 hours a day for work without your phone and email to enhance concentration and quality.

Look for Energizing Moments: An interesting format for the report (for example, a dashboard instead of a presentation) or discussing future plans with colleagues can help you recharge and maintain motivation.

Maintain Clarity of Thought: The main goal is to reach the holidays feeling rested and ready for new challenges.

Specialist Comment:

"The most important task right now is to keep a clear head and make it to the New Year holidays without feeling completely drained. Then in January, you will be able to return rested and ready for new challenges," emphasizes Anastasia Kurnikova. Source: woman
