“You need to believe in your dreams, dream big.”

The title of Miss France 2026 was awarded to Hinaupoko Deveze (Miss Tahiti).

She surpassed Miss New Caledonia (first runner-up) and Miss Normandy (second runner-up).

What is Known About the Winner

Age: 23 years old.

Height: 182 cm.

Education: graduate of the psychology faculty; works as an administrative secretary.

She describes herself as follows: “I am the fruit of a love story between Polynesia and the south of France. My childhood was lulled not only by the melodies of the ukulele but also by the singing of cicadas.” The girl grew up between French Polynesia and Provence. Her mother is from the Marquesas Islands, and her father is from mainland France.

“You need to believe in your dreams, dream big,” she stated during her one-minute presentation. “Being a miss is, above all, being a person. Believing in yourself, daring, falling, and continuing to move forward.”

Later, when asked about the most important values in France, she named “liberty, equality, fraternity,” as well as “respect.”

Hinaupoko Deveze became the sixth representative of Polynesia to win the title of Miss France.

The public generally received the new Miss favorably: she may not be the most beautiful, but there is something about her. The main thing is to be without “peculiarities,” unlike the Misses of the previous two years.
