The head of the FPBK, Vitaly Borodin, considers it unfair that Alla Pugacheva continues to receive a Russian pension while living abroad. In his opinion, the artist should be deprived of payments and her title as People's Artist.
Borodin stated that Pugacheva receives an increased pension of 67,000 rubles, thanks to her title as a People's Artist, while many pensioners manage on 20,000 to 25,000 rubles a month. He proposed to initiate a criminal case against the singer, which would automatically lead to the deprivation of her title and associated benefits.
"If a case is initiated, she automatically loses her title and, accordingly, the supplement. That is our goal," Borodin noted in an interview with Strasti.
Recall that Alla Pugacheva left Russia in 2022 with her husband: first they lived in Israel, and then moved to Cyprus. In 2025, the singer gave a large interview where she stated that she did not plan to emigrate but did so after her husband was recognized as a foreign agent.
