Kiska, Vesyolaya Zhizn, Mars, Plyasovo-Kitaevo, Terpishka, and Yby entered the list of the funniest village and settlement names in Russia.
In the Voronezh region, 22 amusing names were discovered, including Yendovishche, Dolbnevka, Chulok, Piramidy, Gnilyusha, Drakino, Troynya, and Khrenovishche. In the Kurgan region, there are 14, including Dukhivka, Koroli, Kokuy, Kamchatka, Dvortsy, and Krepost. In the Udmurt Republic, there are another 13: Piseevo, Dvigatel, Sidorovy Gory, Shalavenki, Baluy, Malchikovo, Mayory, and Kvardavoz.
The list also includes Ynyrga and Kukuy in the Altai Republic, Novy Opel, Sos, and Babki in the Pskov region, Mutny and Chika in the Komi Republic, Batareyka in the Krasnodar Krai, Varvarskoe in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Potseluevo and Svinoedovo in the Moscow region.
